About
I provide psychotherapy and assessment to clients of all ages. Of interest and specialty are young adults and couples experiencing stress or anxiety in their relationships, managing life transitions (i.e., career and school), and issues surrounding identity. I have clinical experience working in the courts and schools. My approach is insight-oriented and strengths based. I provide assessment in issues surrounding learning, attention, motivation, mood, and personality. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I also have experience and training in working with people with Asperger’s, Autism spectrum disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, and with families to overcome and cope with trauma (divorce, abuse, neglect, disability). I've advocated for my clients in the schools and courts. Specific areas of interest include life transitions; stress and anxiety; athletic, professional, and educational performance; issues surrounding identity and sexuality; as well as family dynamics and interpersonal relationships. Therapeutically, my goal is to help clients examine their lives, and cultivate meaningful interpersonal relationships and experiences to enhance their quality of life.
